this isn't just any old hiccup video; this one comes with upgrades. not only is it a little bit better lit, but the babski also chose the moment to show off all of her little tricks. observe closely the hiccups you all know and love, but wait there's more! check out the hand waving reminiscent of captain jack sparrow from that fine jerry bruckheimer/disney franchise, 'pirates of the caribbean.' you'll also hear evesie's raptor sounds that she picked up from our repeated viewings of 'jurassic park.' i knew from her in utero cavorting that she loved dinos, but she apparently also wants to sound like one. and last but certainly not least, she does the elvis presley lip curl. our talented little baba.

ted and erin had a jordan and named it eve--how could this happen?
a glossary of terms
- baba: anything small or something for which we hold affection. has come to mean, quite literally, *the* baba who is the subject of this blog
- babski: baba with an eastern european flair. from watching all the nannies in prague wheel around their charges in bugaboo strollers. they (the babas) simply became babskis.
- cell bundle: what we called the babski, pre-jordan and before the early ultrasound.
- evangeline lucinda: the cutest baby ever.
- fussbot: nomenclature re: newborn existential struggle.
- jordan: the placeholder name for the babski. we thought it was a funny non-gendered name, and monica's enthusiasm for it was infectious
- morgan: the other non-gendered placeholder name that didn't make the final cut. ted couldn't stop saying "big 'm,' little organ," so we scrapped it in favor of jordan.
- pupsandpups: erin and jordan, combined. ted's invention.
- voldy: proud papa.

Wow, I almost feel like I'm there. She is full of fantastic sounds, that's for sure. I did see the lip curl during her first few days, when I was there. So when is she going to learn her first song?
