it's a raptor and so much more

for posterity's sake (because that's what an electronic journal floating in cyberspace, monitored by friends, family, and strangers, is really all about), here are a few images from the 20-week ultrasound. the baby was particularly uncooperative--all curled up in a breech position--but we managed to get a couple of good pictures out of the whole thing.

i must state for the record that 'and so much more' confuses me. anyone who has seen the documented science of 'jurassic park' (i personally own volumes I, II, and III) knows that the raptor is one highly evolved creature. in volume I, these creatures not only escape from their habitat, but they eat the hunter and gamekeeper. even more, they hunt in packs. and in volume III, we learn that they can communicate with each other and thrive in family units. remember the whole point of JPIII -- the matriarch hunts the humans because they have stolen one of her baba-eggs.
so, i agree that classifying jordan as a raptor is apt. however, i am not convinced that i would want jordan to be 'so much more' than this highly evolved -- nearly perfect, if you will -- bird-like hunter.

Wow, the internet should really be censored. Can you believe they let people put this stuff on here? Sick, sick people.
